What is upcycling?
Upcycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless, or unwanted products into new materials or products perceived to be of greater quality.
In 2019, Finnish stylist Lotta Luostarinen decided to join the forces to create her vintage & secondhand store Refletstudio, the french word for reflections.
With her passion towards old clothes, she started to see more and more reflections from the past in the modern fashion industry. With a minute, she decided to create her own line called Reflets. Reflets offers small collections of accessories and clothes, made as much as possible with upcycled, leftover and recycled materials. Collections are unique, and there are only one or few pieces available. We aim for a zero-waste production.
Reflets is handmade and responsible, moreover, it is handmade in Finland.
Our one-of-a-kind collar collection is made using vintage clothes, tableclothes or leftover fabrics. We believe that with this accessory you can uplift your favorite dress or old sweater.
